Francis Griffin has been conducting a wide variety of music for more than fifteen years. This has included popular show, operas, contemporary music and the great classical standards.
He is the conductor of the London Repertoire Orchestra. This orchestra has given many first performances of orchestral works by British composers.

Francis Griffin trained at the Royal College of Music, his principal study was the horn. He worked for many years as a horn player and teacher before turning to conducting.
